Arab Jordan Investment Bank – AJIB renews partnership agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali for the sixth consecutive year

In line with its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and belief in the importance of philanthropy, AJIB renewed its partnership agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali for the sixth consecutive year. In previous years, the Bank embodied this partnership by sponsoring families living under the food poverty line approved by Tkiyet Um Ali as part of the sustainable food support program.

During the partnership period, AJIB employees committed to participate in the voluntary programs, where they contributed in the process of pouring food, packing and distributing meals to families in various governorates around the Kingdom.

Under the agreement, AJIB will sponsor a number of families benefiting from Tkiyet Um Ali program by providing monthly food parcels to families.

Mr. Hani Al-Qadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Arab Jordan Investment Bank – AJIB, said that this partnership comes from the Bank’s belief in supporting programs that serve the underprivileged and helping them by providing basic needs, thus contributing to making a positive impact in the community.

Mr. Samir Balqar, General Manager of Tkiyet Um Ali, thanked Arab Jordan Investment Bank for continuing to support Tkiyet Um Ali’s programs and for believing in its vision of reaching a hunger-free Jordan and ending food poverty.

Tkiyet Um Ali currently delivers monthly, sustainable food support to 40,000 families living below the food poverty line in governorates of the Kingdom, who comprise of 200,000 individuals. The food parcels contain 24 food items that meet each family’s nutritional needs throughout the month.
